The internet has proven itself a valuable information resource. One of the most difficult tasks though is knowing where to find pertinent information. Dartmouth Printing has compiled a list of some web sites which offer useful information and discussion forums relating to industry related topics such as paper, postage, software, and production. www.asaenet.org: The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) is the world's leading membership for the association management profession. The website "provides a wealth of resources designed to enhance your professional performance, including that of the organizations you work for". Check out this website for more information about member benefits, meetings, calendar of events, and more.

www.snaponline.org: Society of National Association Publications (SNAP) is a professional society that serves the needs of nonprofit associations and their staff, association publishers, and communication professionals. The organization provides a forum for idea and information exchange. Check out the website to learn more about member benefits such as conferences, EXCEL awards, local area meetings, association publication, and more.

POSTAL SITES - DOMESTIC:
www.usps.gov: Official website of the United States Postal Service. Provides publishers with the latest most up to date information relating to rate cases, postage rates and fees, international mailings as well as tracking/confirmation tools and a means to order business forms, shipping supplies, calculate postal rates and lookup zipcodes. Definitely worth checking out although Dartmouth Printing will continue to keep our customers up to date on any pertinent postal rate changes.

www.ribbs.usps.gov: A shortcut to the federal register outlining all proposed rate changes and the postal bulletin which outlines all approved postal changes.

www.jhinc.com: Johnson and Hayward has specialized in international mail services for more than 35 years. For listings of mail strikes, embargoes and sometimes unbelievable incidents that affect mail and shipments, visit their International Mail Incidents section. Check out what's new on the International horizon and potential rate increases. This web site offers a sampling of newsletter which publishers will likely find informative and helpful. www.canadapost.ca: The official website for the Canadian Postal Service. Check out news on rates and proposed and approved changes.

www.bpai.com: BPA International is a leading organization in media auditing. "BPA currently provides independent verification of magazines circulation and Web site traffic for members in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America". BPA was founded as a not-for profit organization in 1931 by leading publishers, advertisers, and agencies. They currently audits more than 300 special-interest consumer publications. www.accessabc.com: Audit Bureau of Circulations. "The first and largest circulation and auditing organization in the world. ABC maintains the industry's foremost database of audited circulation and demographic data."

www.pantone.com: This site is handy for ordering supplies and downloading updates.

www.mainzone.com: Website managed by consultant, Dave Mainwaring. Provides a variety of discussion forums relating primarily to digital technology. He "seek engagements from companies or groups that need to design, manage and establish internet based collaboration, for their employees or clients, using resources modeled after the Computer To Plate Pressroom".
