Tim Gates began his printing career in December of 1987 in the finishing department of a local sheet fed printing shop. He learned to operate various pieces of binding equipment before being promoted to the position of production planner.

Tim then came to Dartmouth Printing in January of 1989. He started in the prepping department, learning the many aspects of material handling and production. After six months, Tim was promoted to assistant account supervisor and gained valuable experience while working with different account supervisors. He has now held the position of account supervisor with a full account load since 1994.

From 1983-1987, Tim served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed at the Fleet Numerical Oceanography Center in Monterey, California, studying meteorology and oceanography. The command center was responsible for providing weather information to the Navy's Pacific Fleet as well as merchant ships operating in the Pacific Ocean.

Tim's leisure interests include hunting, photography and gardening, along with designing and implementing home improvement projects on his log home.
