The Traffic Department consists of four specialized areas: Circulation Management, List Preparation / Review, Shipping and Receiving. All four work together to provide the best advice and service available for your distribution needs.

Dartmouth Printing Company has expanded list related services to include Circulation Management. We can receive your subscription cards and calls, maintain your database, prepare billings, renewals, audits and reports. Having the circulation management under the same roof as the printer provides some unique benefits. One example is that you gain valuable time between the cut-off for new subscribers and the date the mail list must be at the mailer. Another important benefit is the cost savings associated with mailing billing and renewal series with the issue rather than incurring the production and postage costs associated with separate first class mailings. We work with the publisher to initiate and evaluate subscription growth efforts.

Our in-house list preparation of paper labels and inkjet files enables you to take advantage of all presort and automation discounts available from the United States Postal Service. We use PostalSoft software, long recognized as a leader within the industry, for all label generation. Additionally, lists prepared in this department have guaranteed compatibility with our Finishing Department's equipment and provide the most efficient use of its available options, which include the ability to merge multiple lists or versions into a single mailstream on the Buhr's inkjet line.
